Your personal sphere of influence:
As a University Assistant Praedoc you will join the team of Prof. Dr. Ilse Reiter-Zatloukal at the Institute for Legal and Constitutional History and will be entrusted with tasks in research, teaching and administration, in particular working on academic publications. The team's main research focus is listed on the institute's website.
The duration of the contract at the time of recruitment is 3 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not submit a declaration of non-extension within the first 12 months.
Your future tasks:
- You are actively involved in research, teaching and administration.
- They are involved in research projects and scientific studies.
- We expect you to finalise your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
- You are working on your dissertation and finalising it.
- They teach courses independently in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement.
- You will take on administrative tasks in research and teaching.
That is part of your personality:
- Masters Degree in law (or equivalent qualification)
- Excellent knowledge of English
- You are a team player with strong social/communication skills
- IT skills (Office, Zoom)
- Previous experience of researching in archives is desirable; reading Kurrent script
- Publication experience is desirable
- Lecture experience is desirable
