Your personal sphere of influence:

You will become part of the Chair of Motivation Psychology headed by Prof. Dr. Veronika Job. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest and research experience in the field of motivation psychology. Tasks encompass research and teaching, and participation in academic self-government. The employment duration is 4 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.

Your future tasks:

As a university assistant prae doc, you will complement/complete the research team and take over tasks like:

  • Integration into the motivation psychology team in research, teaching, and administration
  • Participation in research projects (specifically on motivational processes of self-regulation)
  • International publications and presentations
  • Supporting the acquisition of third-party funds
  • Active student support
  • Participation in the administration of the institute and the faculty

This is part of your personality:

  • Completed Master's degree or Diploma, in the field of psychology
  • Excellent knowledge in methodology and statistics
  • Excellent competences in social- and motivational psychology
  • Didactic competences / experience with e-learning
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 Level)
