Your personal sphere of influence:

As a university assistant prae doc, you will complete the research team around Prof. Annette Rompel, at the Instiute of Biophysical Chemistry.

The focus of our research is purification,expession and characterisation of a metalloprotein.

The contract period upon employment in 3 years. Initially limited to 1,5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 3 years if the employer does not submit a non-extension declaration within the first 12 months.

Your future tasks:

You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:

  •     You are involved in research projects and scientific studies in the area of biophysical chemistry.
  •     We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
  •     You work on your dissertation and its completion.
  •     You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
  •     You take on administrative tasks in research and teaching.

This is part of your personality:

  • Completed Master's degree or Diploma, in the field chemistry or pharmacy
  • Basic experience in academic writing and with research methods
  • Didactic competences / experience with e-learning
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and German(B2 Level)
  • IT user skills: MSOffice
  • You should be a team player with high social skills
