Are you an expert in organisation and communication in university research?
We are looking for a versatile, open-minded personality who, like us, is keen to make a valuable contribution to basic research in the exciting field of quantum physics.
This position is initially offered for two years, with an option for extension.

Your personal sphere of influence:

The administration of the Quantum Optics, Quantum Nanophysics and Quantum Information research group is a unique team dedicated to providing first-class support to its scientists. Together, we use our expertise in different fields to give our researchers as much freedom as possible for their scientific tasks. At the same time, we support and complement each other with all our different personalities and skills.

Your future tasks:

  • Your strength and your main task are project and programme management.
  • You are a professional in communicating with scientists at different stages of their research careers in an international environment.
  • You are responsible for advising our professors and project leaders on management, finances and research funding.
  • You like to structure complex tasks and know exactly how to prioritise them.

This is part of your personality: 

  • You ideally have several years of professional experience in the management of research or teaching.
  • You have completed general/vocational secondary or higher education and preferably a university degree.
  • You have excellent MS Office skills.
  • You have experience with management systems (e.g. Typo 3) & social media.
